Manchester Camerata

Schubert Octet, 1 Feb 2012, St. Nicholas Church, Thorne from Manchester Camerata on Vimeo.
Featuring Schubert’s wonderfully lyrical and much-loved Octet, the charming bassoon quartet by the German composer Danzi and a transcription of Strauss’ riotous and witty Till Eulenspiegel, condensed down from its original massive orchestration into a score for five players! There will also be new work by Camerata’s Composer-in-Residence Brahim Kerkour.
