Summer Dreams
Celebrating musical and literary dreams this evening’s concert showcases a magical narration of Shakespeare’s romantic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream accompanied by Mendelssohn’s incidental music. Manchester Camerata’s dynamic new leader, Venezuelan / Italian violinist Giovanni Guzzo, is the soloist in Mendelssohn’s ever-popular violin concerto.
