Our Learning and Development programme includes a broad range of schools based work, residency programmes and devised projects with specific communities, partner artists and organisations. We most recently launched the A Place for Music programme in partnership with Manchester Camerata (www.manchestercamerata.co.uk) . With financial support from the Arts Council, Yorkshire and DMBC this 30 month initiative will deliver a comprehensive programme of concerts, schools workshops and musician in residence scheme. We are also currently developing an extensive borough wide initiative to support dance development that we hope to launch in the autumn as well as exploring other learning opportunities linked to the capital programme for the new venue.
